I don't have anything against ecchi, but nowadays there's TOO much anime with ecchi O_O Even Magical Girls, who're supposed to be a genre for kids...
And it's possible to make a good anime without ecchi ^^ (take Air, FMA, and Tsubasa Chronicles ^^)
My favorite is Edward ^^ I just love him...the way he is, so adorable when he gets mad but also when he worries about other people...
Other characters I like are: Mustang, Hughes, and Winry.
